I’m a beginner, what should I do?We would recommend starting with the Introductory offer. This includes a 1:1 initial consult, and two semi private group classes. From there we will work out the best plan for you.

What do I need to bring?Comfortable clothing that you can move in and Pilates grip socks. Please note Pilates grip socks are required for all sessions.

What facilities are at your studio?Our Pilates studio is a home studio. It is separate to the main house with its own entrance via the side gate of the house. We don’t have changeroom facilities. It is a secret sanctuary in our backyard. Fully equipped with high end reformers, springboards, Wunda chairs, barrels and small props.

Where is studio located?We are located in the beautiful coastal suburb of Trigg.

Is there parking?Street Parking is available outside our home.

How do I access your studio?Access via the side gate, follow the sign.

How old do you have to be to attend a class?Our group classes are generally designed for individuals aged 18 and over. However, we encourage family members to attend private sessions together, including teenagers.

I have an injury; can I attend your class?Yes, you can attend our classes even if you have an injury. We require all new clients to complete a client information form, detailing any injuries or areas of discomfort that may need attention. If you're currently under the care of a healthcare practitioner for an existing injury or postoperative recovery, please ensure you have their clearance before participating. In some cases, private sessions may be more suitable to accommodate your specific needs.

I am pregnant, can I attend classes?Yes, Pilates is a wonderful exercise during and after pregnancy. Shannon practiced Pilates throughout both of her pregnancies and during her postpartum journey. To ensure your safety and comfort, please complete the client information form, including details about your pregnancy and any other relevant information. It's also advisable to consult with your doctor or healthcare provider before starting any exercise program during pregnancy. In some cases, private sessions may be more suitable to accommodate your individual needs.

I have notes from my Dr or physio will you work with them?Absolutely, we are committed to collaborating with your healthcare providers to support your recovery. Please have your doctor or physiotherapist email us the relevant details, and we will work together to develop a plan tailored to your needs.

Am I allowed to bring my child to class?On special request for private sessions only.

Do I need to book before coming to a class?Yes, via the website.

Can I cancel a class?Yes, you can cancel a class. We have a 12-hour cancellation policy for semi-private group sessions and a 24-hour cancellation policy for private sessions. Please ensure you cancel within these time frames to avoid any fees.

Are there cancellation fees?Yes, we have cancellation fees in place to ensure the smooth operation of our boutique studio. If you cancel a semi-private group session within 12 hours of the scheduled time, or a private session within 24 hours, the full session fee will be charged. No additional charges will be incurred beyond this. As a small studio with a single instructor, we highly value both our clients and our time. These policies help us manage our schedule effectively and maintain the quality of service we provide.
